FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The HoneyBaked Hockey Club is proud to announce that all 12 of its Tier 1 teams will now play under the same roof for the first time ever.

Suburban Ice Farmington Hills, already home to all the Tier 2 and Girls Tier 1 teams, will now also house the Youth Tier 1 teams, beginning with the 2021-22 season. As part of the move, the facility will also be receiving numerous upgrades to accommodate the teams.

Six new locker rooms will be constructed for the Youth 18U, 16U, 15-Only, 14U, and Girls 16U and 19U teams. A video room, shooting room, coaches room and club “spirit” shop featuring custom HoneyBaked Adidas and Bauer products are also set to be added inside the facility.

Additionally, the HoneyBaked Hockey Club teams will be training across the street from Suburban Ice Farmington Hills at the newly-announced Athlete Lab, a 13,000 square-foot state-of-the-art performance center.

“We feel this will have a great positive impact on our players, coaches and teams as we will be adding a variety of new facilities which will provide outstanding support to our player development efforts and collaboration amongst our coaches,” said HoneyBaked Hockey Club Tier 1 director Jeff Lerg.
