The HoneyBaked Hockey Club has Tier I Girls hockey teams at the 19U, 16U, 14U and 12U age groups that compete in the High Performance Hockey League and a Womens team that plays an independent schedule.

The four girls teams compete for the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association Tier I Girls State Championship and the Womens team for the Senior B State Championship in February each year.

The HoneyBaked Hockey Club is proud and excited to have been chosen to host the 2017 USA Hockey Girls Tier I and Women’s A, B and C level National Tournament.   The Onyx Ice Arena in Rochester and Suburban Ice Macomb will serve as the host facilities for the event with the Girls Tier I tournament running April 6-10, 2017 and the Women’s event April 6-9, 2017.

“We are honored to host the USA Hockey National Tournament again” said HoneyBaked Girls Director Lyle Phair.  “Our HoneyBaked teams will be extremely excited to be able to participate in the National Tournament in their home state in front of their friends and families.  An event of this magnitude is a lot of work but it is always worth the time and effort.  We look forward to the challenge of organizing a first-class experience for everyone involved and hope that having girls hockey in the spotlight will help to grow participation of girls in Michigan.”

The HoneyBaked Hockey Club previously hosted the Girls Tier I and Women’s National Tournament in 2011.
