The Honeybaked Hockey Club is excited to announce the head coaches of the Tier 1 girls’ teams for the 2020-21 season. We are proud to offer coaching staffs with such high levels of playing, teaching and coaching experience, led by head coaches with significant experiences in the game and in coaching successful girls’ hockey teams.

  • Played Division 1 college hockey at Michigan State University
  • Played four years professionally in the NHL and AHL with the Los Angeles Kings and New Jersey Devils organizations
  • Coached Division I college hockey at Illinois Chicago of the CCHA
  • Over 30 years of experience as a power skating and hockey skills instructor
  • Has coached six state championship teams
  • Will also serve as an assistant coach on the 16U team

GIRLS 16U – ROB ROBINSON

  • Played Division 1 college hockey at Miami University and was drafted by the St. Louis Blues
  • Played professionally for 12 seasons in the NHL, IHL, and European pro leagues
  • Entering his tenth season with the Honeybaked Hockey Club having coached at the 14U, 16U and 19U levels
  • Coach of the 2011 HoneyBaked girls 16U national championship team
  • Has coached over 50 HoneyBaked girls who have gone on to play college hockey

GIRLS 14U – JEFF MITCHELL

  • Drafted in the third round (68th overall) of the 1993 NHL Draft by the L.A. Kings
  • Played eight years professionally with NHL, AHL and ECHL organizations
  • Over 25 years of power skating and hockey instructional training experience
  • Entering his 14th year of coaching and 11th with HoneyBaked Hockey Club

GIRLS 12U – KENT BEDNARZ
